Playing the Game (Page 1)
Is there life after death, or is it just oblivion. Sweet oblivion, how I would love to embrace it now. I'd sit in the tub under the water till my lings would scream at me to take that one breath. Tempting me to breath in the kiss of death, but I'd surface and breath in another type of death called life. I walk over to the mirror, wipe the steam away and look at what other people see, something pathetic and weak.
I can hear them now, "Oh look here comes Sarah, the loser, always has her nose stuck in a book." Or I'd hear, "Look at that freak," and then I'd either get shoved into a locker or they would knock whatever is in my hand to the ground. Everyone would point and laugh, but they would never help till one day this "popular" guy helped me out when no one was looking. He whispered to me the sweetest words anyone could to me.
"Let's play a game."
At first I was confused until he reached for my phone that was on the hallway floor and entered his number. He messaged himself so he would have my number and told me to message him "game on" if I was interested. I didn't know what he meant, but he had me intrigued since no one has ever talked to me before. My life is already hell so what could happen if I play this game of his.
After looking into the mirror for a bit, I headed to my bed and weighed the possibilities in my mind on what could happen if I did decide to play this game. About twenty minutes later I couldn't find any negative of agreeing to this game so I reached into my nightstand and sealed my fate.
I messaged Blake, "Game On."
About five minutes later I got a reply back.
"GAME ON..."
