Oscillation

Living temporarily in a meadow of placid bliss, the soothing ringing of wind chimes riding on the cruising Autumn or Spring breeze. The grass and flowers radiate their vibrancy with the aid of the falling Sun, its blinding yellow cooling to the glowing red of cinders. As you stand in the meadow, the flowers brushing your knees like the water of lapping waves at a shore, the air is very pleasing to your skin. You feel like you don't need to go indoors to be home. You have never been so aware of your existence on this Earth, and you have never been so aware of everything else's existence alongside you, in harmony.

But you know this moment will not last, not because of the world, but because of you. You are a being of activity and curiosity. You thrive on conflict, anomalies, and happenstances. Outside of this still moment, you will soon be tested, not out of spite from the world--the world does not have the capacity to feel spite--no, it is your existence that creates events that test your mettle, that get your heart pumping, your mind reeling, your body aware of its existence, because sometimes we forget that our body is there, allowing you to move through this life and experience its beauty.

And once you have proven yourself, you can come back to the meadow with the chime on the wind and the cool air that you forget is there because of its lightness, but once it nuzzles you with a timid breeze, your happiness blossoms ever more.

And this cycle of calm and storm will persist until your body leaves you, but with each cycle, you will be stronger and feel more human, and each moment of calm will grip you harder than the last because you will have grown in perception and insight with which to perceive what each color says to you, each shape, hearing each note of each key.

Each submersion of the Sun into the solid horizon is a reminder of your goal in living. You are the Sun, and you are warm. And the closer you get to Night, the more beautiful you become. You fly every day in a graceful arc, and the Sky you live in is simple and dynamic and lets you roam and shine as you please.

It is your place. It is your time. You enjoy its ups and downs. Your existence is a privilege and a gift from the Stars, and you do not take it for granted. It is your place. It is your time.
