Slow suicide

eyes so bright 

soul so dark 

mind so lost 

heart almost dead 

world almost ending

pulse stagnant

days numbered 

hours shrinking 

light dimming 

time receding 

horizon closing 

sunsetting 

moon rising 

and the gates of the graves 

opened up and swallowed me into the floor .
