Ocean Eulogy
At last I’ve found my way,
midnight thoughts on watery shore,
sweet sands of time smoothed
by silky hands of death, a chorus
resounding in white water of life,
boaters waving goodbye, sailing by,
my secrets sealed forever in inky sea.
Steel blue of promises remembering
youth of summer in power of tides,
clouds parting to shine rays of reality.
Death struts in sparkled joy on my sea
forever rhythms on final oceanic night,
sculpted tides shattering crystal world.
Fog settles on my tomb as smell of salt
lingers in air - teardrops of weeping water,
seashells on my grave with birds circling
living on in those that dance with the sea.
