Approach With Caution
My words pour unrefined.
I'm all teeth and harsh phrases,
Double edged and deadly.
And you are struggling with my angles,
Impossible to hold and sharply piercing to your core.
But there are no apologies pooling under my tongue,
The same tongue I have been biting.
My rough edges have been revived.
And these freeing remarks taste like tequila.
I'm riding a slow spiral,
And I'm waving the warning signs.
Caution is required in my presence
Because tonight, my dear, I will bite back.
