Eyes

She made villages crumble with her eyes.

His blue eyes gave the illusion of safe seas, but ships lay in sandy graves below.

Both feared the destruction they caused, but with each other's eyes in sight

They made destruction utterly beautiful;

They learned to build magnificent things

With the pieces of rubble deep inside their hearts

And created their own worlds.
