the pieces of sky

which broke apart in lies

they were separated by contrails

made worse by the conspiracy theorists

and no one ever saw

the beautiful blue up above

for 

you 

see

the sky had fallen

in acid rain

the skyline was filled

with the smog from the cities

and no one even bothered

to see the hole of ozone...

and 

it 

now

is flat and constricted

by the endless desires of humanity

and although it never stops crying

you will never see a rainbow

the fog is overlaid by virtual reality

and everyone forgets there was once more to be seen
