Dear Life
Dear life,
Why is that you play with me?
Show me a treat as good as candy
Make me lust on it like it's my only remedy
Once achieved, I feel it is coloured agony
Dear life,
Why do I strive so much towards perfection ?
Inspite of all the great acts and stories of inspiration
A little paper cut in the plan and preparation
I weep so hard until wrath adorns on us like a carnation
Dear life,
Why is that I blame you for all the misguidance?
While I am your creator and my biggest alliance
In me is the power to bring change to your governance
Yet I live in false solace and intolerable abhorrence
Dear life,
Watch me as I bond with my creator and arise
Help me build this path as I grow old and wise
Let me embrace you with all of me and dispose the cries
Because starting tonight, I am going to love you with starry eyes
