Head in the Clouds, Feet Down Below
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Removed her shadowed clothes,
disrobed for the undertow of evil,
fallen angel plummeting through clouds,
seaweed lady of distorted veins and bruises.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
In evening, she held men in her clutches,
her evil fruit must be shared with all.
She lured men to get in bed with evil,
arose out of the cinders, spreading
impure honey and men on bread.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Smiles fetchingly in evil moon,
chime of midnight, deceitful roots,
slashes her message in lipstick on walls,
crouched at gate, angel on the dark side,
fell from the fist of God to earth.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Counts with joy the treasure chest, filled
with lost souls and war between
good and evil, daughter of the dark,
a blood bath faucet staining men red,
tempter and deceiver and false purity.
walked among the stars, until God’s hand
pushed her out of heaven – her destiny.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
She waits and preys on men’s mistakes,
looking for dark speck blotting their life,
her beauty outweighing transitory pain,
rich black blood endlessly chilling flesh.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Bearer of light or morning star, Lucifer
becomes onyx lady on dusky horse,
priestess of blood dressed in a hood,
insidious and narcissistic roots, leading
men to the burning flames of Hell,
fire storming past her beating breast.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Yearns for God’s throne to take over heaven,
throws her fire to kill those in her path,
daggers in eyes impale those in her way,
in cahoots with snakes crawling the earth.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Fell from the sky in lightning bolts,
snarling thunderstorm of devil’s spawn,
black clouded veil hides her plague,
as she awaits arrival of hapless souls.
In helpless acceptance, she proclaims,
“I’ve had enough of this fiery pit of Hell
I can sin just as well on the face of earth!”
