A Haiku in Three Parts
The Falling
My stomach twists no
more; he has calmed the rough sea
of my heaving chest.
The Beginning of the End
Roses look brighter,
peonies bloom in his eyes,
I am mesmerized.
The Falling Out
His eyes don't light up
with the same fury I knew.
Red lights and thunders crash.
