Phantom of Pain
It is not pain, it is just phantom.
I feel same fear as before.
Your pale-and-yellow eyes
Have the reflection of my part;
I am an actor in the theater of love.
If you want love – just love,
If you don't want – stay so;
But pain, phantom of pain, will never leave you.
It will be gone, but then it will come back
And make you curse all things around you:
Both friends and rivals, good and bad,
Even the blood that flowing in your veins,
Your own life, your voice when you are laughing,
Your failures and even your success,
Curse all you have, you had or you will have,
And curse this pain… no! This phantom of pain!
Your fall is in this pain
As well as your salvation,
Your dreams, your love, your life,
Your feelings and emotions,
Your thoughts and your intentions,
But.
Some time will pass.
Your pale-and-yellow eyes
Will not have the reflection of my part.
Everything will be gone,
And there will only stay
Phantom of pain.
