It’s Time To Write Again

I feel so rusty

And out of touch!

It's just that lately,

Life's been too much

I've written, so sparingly

But rarely read

And kept up with the talent

Of all my friends

I feel some guilt

To have been gone

And denied this part

Of me for so long

I love this place but

It has not shown

The only true solace

I've ever known

So I'm back, Prose

With this steadfast pen

Knowing it's time

To write again
