Challenge
What's the most interesting and unique question you can think of that the average person could form an opinion about (so a question that doesn't concern specialized knowledge)? Make sure the question is original. Winner is by democracy, but I will review each one and send my favorites to Prose so that if they want and if you agree, they can make them into challenges with an actual prize. Feel free to write an answer to your question in your post.
Try to think of a question that sparks a lot of thought, one that you or anyone else could potentially write pages about. It can have multiple sentences, as long as all parts are related, meaning it has to form a sort of whole question out of the smaller questions.
Universal Basic Income
If Universal Basic Income was introduced how do you think you would cope psychologically? would you just blob on the couch watching TV or would the freedom
to use your time spark a creative streak? how would people define self -worth if it is not tied to your job? If you couldn't be a 'mechanic' or 'shopkeeper' how would you describe yourself? so much of our identity is encapsulated in our occupation.I've seen a number of articles on UBI but they all seem to focus on the economic or political aspects, I would love to see discussions on the possible mental health and self identity problems or benefits.
