Challenge
For my first challenge - I would like a break up, a bad break up. One that haunts you or just keeps popping back in your head. Story or poem as you like, but it must convey the message "It wasn't me, it was definitely you" I want to relish in these tales of woe, so please tag me.

Imperfect
I learned how to cook your favorite meal.
This was the deal.
You said I needed more femininity.
I got fake nails and made myself pretty.
I didn't buckle even when you broke my heart and were disloyal.
My head broke each day.
I tried to figure ways to make you stay.
One day, as I looked in the mirror, this perplexion suddenly was clearer.
It wasn't me, it was definitely you.
I'm no longer that person you so mercilessly confused.
