Anything Works
I have my phone on me while I'm out and about. It would be wise for me to use it for notes. But by the time I open it up I have forgotten what had crossed my mind to begin with. I usually carry around a pocket notebook for writing down pieces that sound good. I do not have a computers memory. I MUST write ideas down or else they are gone. A reminder for future work.
I have a typewriter. Though it broke in the process of moving. I haven't had the time or enough money to replace it. So it rest in my closet until I can do so. I have a tablet for when I am at home resting. I use a typewriting app, Hanx Writer. It works just as well as my real one, and even has a cute sound effect. Although it isn't the same feel and sound it will suffice.
I use it as a home for my writing pieces.
Honestly I don't mind what I write on as long as I'm able to write. I use them because they are there. Without them I'd be digging my nails into wood or chiseling stone. That would certainly be a game changer. A new meaning to turning blood into ink.
