Absence
Stagnant. Unstimulating. Full...
yet hollow...
How many of us have experienced life that can be described using these words at some point? When you think you've lost all desires and drives.
Reality has you absorbed in its pessimistic rationality and you calculate possibilities of happiness using a mathematical equation. Usually the chances are that of a coin landing on its head, if not the tail. Yet nothing seems to budge you.
Being the dominating notions we experience; fear ,uncertainty and anger are usually the sperm that makes it to the egg first rather than bliss. But at that moment in time even they don't hold any importance. Time is one ripple moving against its own tide.
To put it very simply in tasteless humour, it's being preoccupied with yourself not being preoccupied with anything at all.
That scares you.
They say ignorance is bliss. I think I'm starting to agree now.
