Reason #poetry

I'm coiled, like a sleeping serpent

Be careful, once I awaken, I'll be

Tempted to bite into whatever

As long as it serves me well

I don't care if you're not there

I might as well do my thing

Instead of following  you around

Like a dog throwing weight around

Like it's supposed to get me

To wherever I need to

I know I'm not supposed to

Be wherever you are

It's not what I wanted

But I know I'm breaking

When we're apart

I just can't let you

Be the reason.
