sometimes self care is smiling at yourself in the mirror

self care is cutting that toxic friend out of your life

self care is leaving the boyfriend that tells you to lose weight in order to be beautiful

self care is telling yourself that you are beautiful, every single day

so yes, i want you to take care of yourself

but you don't always need scented candles and a lush bag for self care

sometimes self care is knowing you're worth it and acting on it when others don't
