My World
My world would start with sand,
something soft and subtle.
Bricks made of love, and understanding,
with no rebuttal.
Cement made of trust so that the bricks
would never come apart.
Shaped in a partial round,
a simple half of a heart.
Stack to combine strength and stability
to make the foundation whole.
Sprinkles of grass beside it,
unbreakable is my goal.
Build it nice and tall maybe three
stories high.
With soft suede sidewalks,
to keep me reaching for the sky.
Window made of a crystal ball,
so you could see through my soul.
A door made of rubber tree,
Keep me bouncing on my toes.
When you come into my house
you're welcome no matter what the breed.
My hospitality is catered to your every need.
My neighbors are respectable
and build the way I build.
They are understanding, with no drama.
They love the way we live.
When you go to our stores or places in town,
Everyone is courteous and homebound.
A place where there are no bills,
because you found and built your own.
No presidents or leaders of the state.
A democracy was where we roam.
Everyone is paid equally,
No money is to leave the nation.
We spend it on where we live,
To keep the wealth in our creation.
