How you came into my life

Why I let you in

Why you wanted

To be apart of the mess that is my life

But for whatever reason, you did

And I couldn’t be happier

I never thought

That I could ever be myself around someone

And they wouldn’t go running the other way

There are very few people

Who have ever accepted me

After really getting to know me

I think you accept me

I think you still like me

It’s amazing really

I think I’m incredibly weird

I probably think I’m weirder than I really am

But somehow, you like me anyway

I don’t understand why

We have so suddenly

Become such big parts of each other's lives

But no matter how it happened,

I’m glad it did
