Uncreativity
Sitting in a room
Fingers atop the keyboard
Wishing for inspiration
Every thought a possibility
Every person a muse
Every idea not good enough
Each thought comes slower than the last
Dream journals cannot help
Neither can pages of notes
Uncreativity.
A sentiment so empty it was not given a feeling
A trait so vague it is hardly recognizable
A problem so prevelent it is rarely even seen
Tapping on the keys without producing words
Scanning through the mind without thinking thoughts
Searching through mountains of darkness for one light
One small gilmpse of innovation
One flicker of imagination
One small impulse to light the firework that can shatter the box surrounding an idea
The mind isn’t clouded or empty
It simply does not think the thoughts that are needed
It comes and it goes
Uncreativity.
