When something Disagrees with Us
Who do we speak to? in dialogue, or monologue; who’s listening in...
. . .
Much speaks out to us...
we blink deaf, and do not
understand..
Though they’re bellyaching
now and then, to say hey!
“I overheard you man.”
...Dialogue is one thing
we’ve declared we just
cannot have...
The icing of our memory
is so very selective
and crystalized;
We can hardly take in
richness of sound
to metabolize,
We skim the surface even
if talking to ourselves
...the finger wags!
It’s a strange kind of monologue
that’s been whipped and
camouflaged...
But don’t blame God!
Pity the Nauseous who
consumes it all.
