The more I listen to your words,

The lonelier I feel.

You act as if I'm nothing,

Thinking I cannot deal.

Why do I listen to you?

For you share only happiness,

And tease me about how,

My life is such a crazy mess.

Don’t talk about your lover,

Talk to me seriously,

Tell me your problems,

I will listen to you kindly.

You act like you are perfect,

And I am nothing to you,

But still I say that,

I will be true.

Why do I waste my time,

On people like this,

I do not know,

But it’s people like you I miss.
