Too Long

I am sixteen years old

I feel, I laugh, I smile.

But today I cry.

There is too much sorrow

In this world and

I can't contain it.

Tears are falling down my cheeks

And I can't hide it.

Sometimes I think I've lived too long.

Not in years or memories

But through my tears.
