Fears

I am not easily frightened

Just go and ask my friends.

They always try to scare me

It never ever ends.

There efforts are so pointless

For if you want to scare me,

You will have to do much more work

Than just sneaking up behind me.

Screams might surprise me,

But that is not a scare.

Heights also will not work,

You might say it's unfair.

So what is it that can scare me?

Well gather round and hear:

There is only one thing

That can bring about real fear.

Needles with their sharp heads,

And their giant plunger.

When I see one coming my way,

I find something to hide under.

So if you want to scare me,

That is what you must find.

Or you could go back to trying,

To scare me from behind.

But it. Won't. Work.
