Losing

I've slipped away,

So much to do,

I can barely find time,

To talk to you.

But all my plans,

And responsibilities,

Are no excuse,

For my behavior.

I feel a distance,

Between us widening,

As I respond less,

And less.

I'm sorry this is,

Happening fast,

And I don't know,

How to fix.

Are we each ignoring the other?
