The window was open just enough to let in the cool night air.

She sat on the edge of her bed and wondered what the day ahead will bring her. It wasn’t going to be easy and a lot of things could go wrong. She knew that, so instead of worrying about it, she focused on the breeze coming from the sea, slipping through her window and cooling her heated skin.
