//REMEMBER HOME//
As the rattling of train tracks ring in my ears,
Every beat that reverberates,
I remember mother's song,
As I see the sun at its peak,
Its rays touching my skin,
I remember father's firm yet cotton touch,
The cold metal seats,
That spread pain in my bones,
I remember grandmother's comfy armchair,
As I see unfamiliar faces,
With an unconcerned aura,
I remember sister wiping away my tears,
As I put my hand on the handle bars,
Smooth and lifeless,
I remember my hand in brother's,
Embracing and rough,
As I take in the scent of sweat and smoke,
I remember mother's fragrant orchard,
As I look into the distance,
Towards the vast unacquainted horizon,
I remember home
