Floatin’ Frogs

I am introducing that any object, with a strong enough magnetic field are able to float, levitate, or fly on their own. However, objects such as frogs are easier due to the properties that they have a high water content in proportion to their body size, which in turn is a favourable diamagnetic material. With the use of bitter electromagnets, “the magnetised frog is pushed up from a region of high magnetic field into one of lower field, and levitates.” Frogs by no means are made up of any different material than jyou and I, millions of atoms, but they are just slightly more equipped for the field than we are. So, before you ask, yes it is possible to make a human go on the same life changing experiences as these lucky floating frogs due to our 2/3 water content in our bodies. With the use of a powerful bitter electromagnet, also very large, a human should have no issues dealing with the power of levitation. No need to worry right? Yes, you are correct. All frog subjects are 100% healthy and are ready to get back into the field, so testing human subjects in the future may not be so distant.

Stepping aside from floating frogs, the same magnetic technology can be used to allow medical technicians to look inside your body for any damage. They are able to do this through the use of an MRI scan. However, before you can understand how magnets look inside you, you first have to understand what is inside you. Water is made up of H2O, hydrogen and oxygen, and fat is made up of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. Your water and fat calculate to be around 60% hydrogen, which is exactly what the MRI needs. When you enter an MRI scan every hydrogen nucleus is able to straighten up with the man-made magnetic field. They then issue short radio waves, which are bale to actually briefly change the direction of all the hydrogen nuclei. You may not believe that this is significant, but when they are returning to how they once were they send radio waves right back. The MRI used is able to analyze where the radio waves, sent from the nuclei, came from and from what type of tissue. With this information the MRI is able to create a detailed map of the inside of your body. So in conclusion, it is not X-Ray vision but insane science that gives doctors the ability to look inside and see what is wrong with our bodies.
