"I am" two weeks or so on the site, and am enjoying it. I would liken it to being in a motel room with thin walls, where I can choose a voice to eavesdrop on at will. If that voice becomes too angry, or too pitiful, I can move on to another.
Some voices call me back, and I press an ear to the wall, as the old stories feel as rich as the new. I am learning about some of those voices, finding truth in their fictions, and grace in their comments, strangers no more.
I am even answering the call, adding my own feeble voice to the din, and wondering if anyone on the other side of those walls cares to hear it. If so, I will respectfully try not to disappoint, or to waste their time with uncrafted drivel.
"I was" pleased to find this room. It is good to know that emotion, and rhyme, and imagination are still cherished in a digital world.
"I will" be staying a little longer. Thank you to those who have heard my voice, and responded with such support and kindness.
Speak on, you voices, there is no time for rest.
