Magical memory

I remember

sitting

on my son’s bed

pillows plumped

huddled

under the blanket

reading

Harry Potter

for hours

on a Sunday

that turned

into Monday

as snow

closed schools

and we

left the bed

only

as necessary

quickly

returning

to snuggle under

blankets

and escape

into a magical

world –

together.
