Challenge
Poem that begins with "come with me" and ends with "Till the end".
No rules. Just a poem. And follow the prompt.
Death
Come with me
I have watched you suffer
at the hands of those you thought
were most dear.
You have battled this war too long,
wasting your time on people
who don’t care about you.
who won’t notice when you’re gone.
You can see them whispering to each other and looking at you
chuckling
about you
You have suffered enough, my love.
Come with me,
and your suffering will end.
The pain inside your soul will cease,
the endless turmoil
twisting and churning
driving a knife into your heart
and turning it
round and round
and round.
Those sleepless nights will not be so sleepless.
Those terrible memories
of people shoving you to the ground
parents arguing
close friends turning their backs on you,
it all will end.
Come with me,
and I will love you
in death
Till the end.
