Magic Is REAL!!

After hundreds of years being disregarded as myth, science has now proven the existence of magic. This information was presented to the world at a press conference in NATO headquarters, Brussels, Belgium on October 31st at 12:00am Greenwich Mean Time. At first this shocking new information was disregarded as an elaborate Halloween prank. Serious reporters who stayed to the end of the conference were told that the time was chosen deliberately by the newly established Divination Department headed by American, Ms. Cleopatra Smith. Smith claimed to have had a vision that any other time would have caused a disaster however she refused to disclose details or comment any further on that matter. Proof of these incredible claims was given on an individual basis to all attendees by the soon to be renamed S&M, or Science and Magic Department. Many were reduced to tears, a few were smiling but no one left unconvinced. How this will impact the world is something that no one knows for sure, except perhaps Smith. Despite claims that society is far more advanced and accepting these days many believe that this is the beginning of a new witch hunt. An unnamed source in the S&M department says “Before we held the conference I moved and changed my look, I’m a goth scientist but because of where I work and how I looked before I was afraid I’d get lynched after the announcement.” This reporter can only watch and inform as this new world comes into being and hope that magic, once a word of fantasy will become a word of salvation and not a curse.
