The moon

I was sitting outside in the backyard relaxing after a long day. There was a soft breeze blowing, you know the kind that feels like its caressing your skin. It was a quiet night and for the first time, the neighbor's dog wasn't barking. Something must have moved above me because I looked up. That is when I saw it. I saw the moon for the first time in weeks, big and luminous in the night sky and it made me think of you.
