These are just a few of the characters that I've been creating and briefly working on over the past year.

Xinyi Choi (28) - "The Lonely" by Christina Perri

After losing her boyfriend because of his gambling addiction, Xinyi finds herself broke, brokenhearted, and in desperate need of a job. While she is in pain, Xinyi has to pull herself together and try to make some money and dig herself out of the hole she was put into. Yet, she still finds herself walking around with a weight around her heart and her spirit that keeps her from bouncing back.

Ayanna Hampton (23) - "Akidagain" by Travie McCoy

Ayanna's rise to fame as an author, her dream job, was overshadowed by seeing the man she'd loved and lost come back into her life and tell her that he had moved on after they lost contact for three years. She is devastated, as most of the men in her life end up just being compared to this man who is now unobtainable. To make matters worse, her suicide attempt following hearing the news just pushed her into a meteoric status of fame. Since she can't take the easy way out and has eyes watching her, Ayanna has to face the reality that sometimes you have to go through the fire to get to the end.

Dr. Rheme Jones (48) - "Talking to Myself" - Eminem (ft. Koby)

Though they have similar attributes, Rheme is nothing like Rick Sanchez. A brilliant scientist who created weapons of mass destruction for the U.S. government during WWIII, Rheme overcame many unforeseen obstacles to get to her position. Yet, her position came with setbacks, and once she was terminated for her job, she began to go insane and blew up her laboratory with her inside. Or that's what her niece, Naemi, thought until her aunt showed up in her house, eating a PB&J and explaining that she had to protect the products of her years of egg donating. The pair then go on a wild goose chase around the continent, running from elusive bad guys, trying to protect adults who do not even know they are in danger.
