Maybe don’t say anything..
I am a believer, I have seen 'the light".
lucky me, right? it came to me not from a book but from life experiences. I believe the god written about in books is a distorted, corrupted image. religious texts are full of archaic language, mistranslations from other , older books, and misinterpertations of god's will. similarly, talking about it distorts what we see and creats expectations and biases, abuse and marginalization.
I believe that spirituality and the vision of the devine is a private process that should not be interfered with or opinioned upon.
there are no facebook or tweeter accounts, for that 'one', no youtube channel, or even a prose homepage. only the opinons or pretensions of others.
the values you have, morally, are your own, you are attracted to them bevause they reflect your personslity, which is why they differ so from person to person. it could be that god put you on a path, it could be that you were purposely shown things. but it is presumptious and dangerous to claim you understand.
this is how I live. I never preach the so-called ‘good word’ . it is not my place and it prevents unnecessary and often hurtful quarrels. these arguments help with nothing. it is a rare thing that these “friendly” attempts at bridging the devide , acrually succeseed. they only send people further into opposite corners. an atheist believes strongly that his logic is infalliable, and the absence of proof means the absence of god. it is a fair claim to make. but it depends on a fundamental belief just as much as a ‘believer’ has.
it is better to try and lead a good life, care for others and through these "silent" gestures, others might be influanced in a clearer way.
