Asian American Magazine(Non-American Asians & Non-Asians can Write As Well!)
I am starting a magazine called Rice & Spice Magazine! It's a platform for my generation of Asian Americans to express themselves through writing(stories, poetry, and articles), art, photography, and graphic designs. Non-American Asians are allowed to submit Guest Writer articles about their experiences, or their thoughts on Asian Americans' experiences. Non-Asians can submit Guest Writer articles about their view on Asian Americans' experiences as well. Topics can be anything. Please provide a short 3rd person bio, whether or not you'd like to be a regular contributor, and what type of Asian-American, Asian, or Non-Asian you are.
If you prefer to submit art and photography through google forms, there is a link in my bio.
The biggest 2 cover stories will be about LGBTQ Asian American community(your personal experiences, your thoughts, etc.), and the Asian community alongside BLM.
A short bio
Daisy is a 39 year old first generation immigrant from China. Three quarters of her life was spent in China, one quarter in the States, and one fifth of that last quarter was in U.S. Navy. Her life is like a big orange, loosely bundled together with divided, diverging concepts and dichotomous tags. Segments of different life experiences, many up-and-down paths and flavors. Some of the segments would need years of self inner healing works to finally bring each drifted soul fragment back home, and back into the state of wholeness again. Writing is her window of healing, and her channel to share her journey with the rest of the world. She hopes she can use her own unique way to touch a soul, heal a heart and help patching up some wounded fragmented souls, like the way how she healed her own.
