Don’t believe everything you breath
air used to be nothing to think about.
then people of philosophical enquiry, began wondering “what is this stuff that we are putting in our lungs, it must be important though, you die if you can’t get any”
the crucial nature of air tonlife, brought some to conclude that air and souls are the same.
later, throught experimenting, the different gasses in the air were isolated and explained. the chemical cycles of oxygen , carbon, nitrogen, became more understood.
then we started polluting the air on a massive way. Lead was added to gassoline, to improve performance , but when it got to the air, we started getting sick.
nuclear experiments, nuclear disasters, radon, dioxin, ozone, sulfur, all find their way into our lungs, through the air we naiivly breath.
i posit, that the air itself was very pleased with our ignorance. it was content to be a mystery, it perhaps enjoyed the privacy of being a subject, but never an object. it tolarated our breathing, but not our meddling. and so the air brought about our doom. never trust a gust of air. it does not mean you well...
