Who Am I To You?
Early morning taunts me.
Avenues of contentment running though my mind.
Strategies have turned from realization to desperation,
As I struggle to find a balance.
Who am I to you?
Lines are blurred in this perplexed happiness.
I wish you could see my vision,
Feel what is in my heart,
Know that it is only you I wake wanting.
Your presence can never be erased.
I have tasted the euphoria you give to me and long for nothing less.
You are a necessity,
Without you I am incomplete.
Words are not needed to articulate these feelings,
You experience them when we are together.
My body responds to you like no other.
I love the hunger in your kiss,
The possession in your touch.
The rest of the world stops when we collide.
Tell me you need me,
Tell me I am not existing in despair.
Tell me anything but goodbye.
