I heard the shot and saw the flash,

A bright light before my eyes...

i heard my scream, i heard her gasp

You have to belive i'm not lying!

i walked away with nothing to say

no weapon in my hands,

but guilty still, i ran way

but this was not the plan.

you must believe i never saw
