A protest to a protest
Some advocates for All lives matter that i have talk too have only presented me with arguments of why they believe black people are more inharently violent. They use outdated statistics and bring up black on black crime to try to keep me silent.
They yell “go home” and call the protesters criminal thugs but refuse to acknowledge the massive amounts of videos of protesters protecting stores from looters. They call us violent but don’t acknowledge the police aggitators or the white surpremisits groups that show up as persecutors.
Compare these protests to the protests in May when people stormed capital buildings carrying guns and got in the police officers faces to scream their point, they were called “good people” and nothing extreme happened because they didn’t have aggitators and the police did not escalate the situation. But when we hold signs and lay on the ground for 8 minutes, or stand with our hands up we get pushed down when we want our voices heard we are called “terrorists” all because we refuse to stand in line and repeat the process of assimilation.
Please realize, that your individual experience with someone does not excuse the majoritys experience with them.
(This is a repost from a similar challenge i did a few month ago, still hope its as informativve and enjoyable from when i first posted it.)
