Ever person around you affects you

You learn to not expect to make friends

You know when someone will leave you

You can physically feel the distance

You know that eventually they’ll choose someone else

You know that eventually they’ll be gone

That they’ll get tired of you

That they’ll see their mistake in loving you

That they’ll see why love is poison

That they’ll see why people don’t stay

But that’s simply in the past...

Present..

Future.

I see it coming miles before it does

But they say they’re different
