Hello, I’m Roses311Sublime

My pen name Roses311Sublime is based on my old AOL screen name (that alone is showing my age). To get the screen name I plugged in three band names (Guns N' Roses, 311 and Sublime), and Roses311Sublime was born. In early February I will have been married for 11 years, and my wife and I have a daughter and two sons. I am a Pre-K teacher, a aspiring voice actor that currently acts at a haunted house and with a murder mystery theater troupe (I plan on doing shows again once Covid goes down), and a film judge that reviews films and screenplays for possible inclusion in film festivals. My hobbies include writing, reading, video games, growing in my faith, music, anime and comic conventions, comics and manga. I wrote a lot when I was in high school, took a long reprieve, then got back into it during the quarantine. I am not ruling out trying to get published in a book format at some point, but at this time writing is a passion hobby that I am enjoying to help boost my creativity, ideally inspire someone just like the many that have done the same for me, and hopefully leave a part of me behind that outlasts my own existence someday. I love being here on Prose, and I look forward to learning about all of you too!
