The lonely girl
Lost in her mind
Slipping through
the sands of time
Swallowed by
the depths of pain
Fearing thoughts
that will restrain
The very being
she always was
Fighting, pushing
with a cause
Every day
A battlefield
But she triumphed
even still
She is mighty
that's a fact
The girl she was
will not be back
