Ajoined
Two sisters joined at birth.
One confident, one with no self-worth.
As toddlers they learned to do everything together.
When it was nip outside they both wore a sweater.
Angie and Angela was their names.
When Angie did something wrong, Angela would take the blame.
One day the girls were in virtual school and Angie answer was wrong.
When the teacher asked her to give the correct answer, Angie’s silence went long.
The teacher asked Angela did she know the answer.
She replied, “The correct answer is dancer.”
Angela looked at Angie, but Angie looked ashamed.
Angela told her two heads were better than one, especially when they are joined at the brain.
They never knew how to survive without one another.
When the surgery was performed,
they were no longer with each otber.
Angie lye on her bed trying to recover, she thought “who will be there for me now?”
Angela awaken looked at her sister gazing with a very sad frown.
She said “Angie, I know you are worried about me now that I left your side?"
She explained, “My love will never abandon you.” Angie smiled and they cried.
Today both girls are doing fine living their lives apart.
Being seperated from the brains, never seperated their hearts.
