My Suprise

So... this is the surprise!!

It's been over 6 months since I finished What Time Forgot and oh my soul has time flown. It feels like just yesterday that I finished it honestly but at the same time, it feels like a lifetime ago that I sat down and created Artemis, Seneca, and the world they lived in.

Fast-forward six months and we find me, sitting on my bed, writing this. There's been an idea floating around in the back of my head ever since I started What Time Forgot and that idea is that I write a sequel. Well...not exactly a sequel but another story that has the same basic background and concept to it.

So today, I'm introducing you to the baby idea of The Forgotten People! I'm still working on naming some of the characters (they don't want to be named apparently) but besides that, I have the large majority of the plot already planned out including the beginning, middle, and end. The character arcs are turning out rather nicely and I'm very proud of how it has matured over the last 6 months.

That being said, I will not be posting chapters immediately. I would like to get some work done ahead on it so I can, if necessary, take a break for a week or two on writing it but still post chapters for you to read.

So here's what's going to happen. I'm going to finish fleshing out the characters and plot and then I'm going to start writing it. I hope to have the first chapter out some time at the end of next week at the latest.
