Temptation
Ambrosia tongue and lips of cream, he spoke into her neck, for you are one amongst the angels, yet on Earth we meet to please.
And you are one of few from Hell to drink life from Heaven’s lips, she breathed into his ear, yet here you are in Earthly state, your ashy breath upon my neck from coals within your soul.
From anger comes the most of me, yet you have tamed the fire. The lie slid easily from within his black velvet lips, and she took it as the truth.
Temptations melt my rationale, and sin is almost won. Heaven makes us strong of heart, but by evil that’s undone. His glistening horns against her cheek, rubbed flesh and blood unopened as her thoughts ran through peach lips.
Then let evil come inside of you. Unbolt your chains to men; unclasp your hand around the rope that tethers you to mortal dominance, and come with me instead. A curtain of red satin wing unfolded accrossed his back. Hell will offer more to you than ever Heaven will. You’ll have more fun with me if only in the moment. Those of sin with eyes of red wield temptation charmingly. His smile curled most gingerly acrossed his chalk white teeth, the only pure and sinless spot upon his sinful being.
Her eyes were now cast upward where, accrossed the domed and painted ceiling, a display of half-naked child-men lay calmly in the clouds, and women robed indecently in cottons of light blues and reds stared down at her with broken eyes and with hearts made flesh and bone.
She closed her eyes and made her choice, evil easier than good. She spread her arms and wailed to him, be done, my love, let evil through. Turn inside out my soul. From tired eyes I see my past and in it future too. Set free from me a path of new. Show me the ways of Hell. Let Heaven be one angel less, for I need not ambrosia tongue or lips of cream as only angels have.
Her wings of white and golden silk spread out as if a bird’s. Her eyes glanced up once more farewell; regret, her last goodbye.
The demon-man showed no more teeth of white, instead just claws stained red. One hand held firm her neck; the other had a single claw pressed up against her skin. From forehead down to jaw then neck, his claw made an incision. From there he went along her side and ended at her feet. His hand let go of neck, and he told her now to shed.
Her face more more pale than minutes passed, she pinched the edges of her skin. She peeled it off amidst her screams and was left bloody, red, and raw. The demon-man now brought her close and drove horns into her skull.
The woman now had no ambrosia tongue nor had she lips of cream, just angry thoughts of vengeance cruel and coal flaming from within. And from that time she’s wielded lies and charmed more angels into sin to satisfy her anger at the one who stole heaven from her hands.
