Background: She was in a coffee shop when she noticed Dr. Vains, a student a few years younger than her. She decided to talk to him and they began to hit it off. They were in a similar field and she offered him help with his dissertation on the effects of mental illnesses on patients over time, particularly dementia patience. After he graduated, she offered him a job at her company, which was a private practice treating people with psychiatric identity disorders. They went around the world to find patients and study the changes across cultures, before settling in Prague and starting a business together. She and Dr. Vains were very close, but she began to get distant and then one day, he woke up and she was gone and had left him a note that said that he didn't need her anymore and her job was done.
