On The Other Side
Beyond the foggy veil
In shadows inky grey
A bridge there lies
Which spans the chasm wide.
I ponder and I wonder
Mere man that I am
Whether crossing this swaying edifice
To the other side, which I cannot see
Will bring a peace of mind
And freedom to me.
