It's so cold

I don't know if it's me or you

Or what to do

My veins are freezing over

Fingers sparkling with frost

As my heart breaks at the touch

Like the shattered glass of my soul

I search for my usual warmth

The fire in my heart

But it has died

And only ashes reside

I don't understand

How my sun

Could have gone so dim

Is it me to blame?

Is it my fault

That you make my hands go cold

Take the warmth of my smile

There must be

As deep as these shivers run
